Schools often teach in ways that don’t align with how neurodivergent students naturally learn. When we identify these gaps, we can make meaningful changes that truly support their success. This course will show you how.
Who is this course for?
This course is for teachers and TAs who are dedicated to supporting neurodivergent pupils and want clear strategies to help them succeed.
How Can You Access This Training?
These training days take place at various locations around West Sussex and are for individual teachers and TAs.
Book for an INSET day and your teachers will receive quality, in-person training with lots of time to relate the learning to their individual pupils and help to create a neurodivergent-informed learning environment throughout the school.
These are in-person training sessions that last between 1.5 and 2 hours for staff at the end of the teaching day. These work well in combination with the online course, which goes into more depth.
In-person Courses Combined With Online Training:
Why would you choose the online course alongside your in-person training?
- What if some teachers miss the course?
- What if a teacher who really needs to know this isn’t in on this day?
- What if the teachers are tired and can’t remember all this information?
These are the reasons we recommend access to the online course for all staff for a full year following any in-person training. Then all your members of staff can watch and learn from this highly empowered training. This creates ongoing discussions and learning.
Additional topics we’ll dive into include:

As we know, the Equality Act 2010 requires all of us to make reasonable adjustments to support our neurodivergent students. However, we would like to go one step further and say we would like to make the best adjustments.
Who wouldn’t want to give their students the very best opportunities to thrive and learn?
